Just returned from Kochi, to Colombo. Had a good three day trip. Visiting the Jewish synagogue was one of my main priorities. It was indeed an interesting place, and I witnessed for myself the young jewish woman selling tickets at the Paradesi synogogue. It's interesting to note that there are only 9 Jews left in Kochi. the Jews are facing extinction as Miss Hallegua refuses to marry either of the two Jews left in Kochi! She is indeed a formidable woman, giving imperious instructions to visitors!!

I agree absolutely! A person should be able to wander their neighborhood without being assaulted by nudity and profanity. It's time to assert a standard of what is acceptable behavior in public! Many people no longer can make a determination of what is alright in private as opposed to what is acceptable in public!

Kipnis is now a Catholic. What about some "real" Israelis? Pitcher Shlomo Lipets was stellar in the recent European Baseball Championships Qualifying Tournament played in Israel last week. There are a couple of Israelis playing American college ball, as well.

That does not sound very believable to me. It is all over the web but no checked source, and one basic article reposted everywhere. How many Jews do you know that, after receving a warning and perhaps a fine, would not go to city hall and seek an agreement of some sort, and make sure they are in compliance? She is according to some sources a mother of six, still with young children: how many jewish mamas do you know that would be ready to go to jail - and for three months, can you imagine? - for such a stupid reason? And how many observant Jews do you know, that go to court against nonjews in the three weeks? Think about it. If she is so particular about eating only organic food, it's not like it'll be provided t0 her in jail. If she is tight on money and can not spend on organic vegetables, how comes she is prepared to throw cash, and lots of it, at a lawyer - and for a lost case, because this is the regulation and people have obviously to comply. Things do not really add up in this story.

Although this looks bad, it's actually quite good. As all Israelis know, there are enemies within it's walls & some of them use the port of Lod or Haifa to move to the US. Only last yr an Israeli born Palestinian was finally arrested for multiple murders in Michigan. It is because of the Arab population in Israel that this is something America needs to watch out for. Israel does no less.
